Newark Orchard School is fully committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into effect on 25th May 2018. These policies are held in school and can be viewed on request.

The school is adhering to the guidelines provided by Nottinghamshire County Council and this programme of work is underpinned by a suite of policies that complies with the law, which can be found below.

The school is maintaining an Information Asset Register which records types of personal data the school is processing  other supporting information.

Training for existing school staff has been provided alongside more detailed, role specific training for members of the Senior Leadership Team

We are reviewing our existing supplier contracts to ensure they comply with GDPR where required.

All our privacy notices are updated alongside a  form for all parents and carers to complete.   A copy of the Privacy notices can  be found below
